I am a gamer.  It is my favorite hobby.  I especially like to play games as a form of social activity with other people.

I have been playing role-playing games since 1984, when I first learned how to play Dungeons and Dragons, which came in a red boxed set at the time.  I have played several other role-playing games since then.  Some of them that I liked were Star Frontiers, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (1st and 2nd editions), Cyberpunk 2013, Cyberpunk 2020, Vampire: the Masquerade (2nd Edition), Werewolf: the Apocalypse (2nd Edition), Dungeons and Dragons 3rd Edition, and GURPS (3rd and 4th editions).

I do also like to play strategy games from time to time.  Two that I like are Twilight Imperium and Babylon 5 Wars.  A good play-by-email game is VBAM (Victory By Any Means).  When playing a game on the computer, it is most likely going to be a strategy game, and I will most likely be playing with at least one other player over a network.

When playing  the X-Box, I prefer to play split-screen games.  I wish that there were more of them.  It is even better when we can play split-screen while also playing on X-Box Live.
